“The campaign targets about 40,000 children in Hama Governorate. The mobile vaccination teams will visit all the schools in the province. In addition, there are five fixed centers throughout the province,” said Dr. Gamal Khattab, the supervisor of north western Hama Countryside.
The campaign targets (1330324 ) children in the countrysides of Idlib, Aleppo, Hama and Lattakia.
Measles is known as a highly contagious virus transmitted through the nasal and pharyngeal secretions, which causes pneumonia and middle ear inflammation, and in severe cases causes death. The vaccine guarantees its prevention.
